Meet Dr. Jean M. Felton

Dr. Felton, better known as Dr. Jeanie hails from Northern Virginia, but she has also been a proud resident of Florida, New York City, Ohio, Arizona, and now Colorado. Before she caught the dental bug as an orthodontic assistant, she stumbled upon a job in education with special needs children. It was this experience that sparked her desire to gravitate toward pediatric dentistry several years down the road.
In 2005, Dr. Felton had the privilege to attend Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Never having even visited the mid-west, she soon became an enthusiastic part of the dental community, graduating with honors four years later. Following dental school, she continued in a residency at CWRU where she received her certificate in pediatric dentistry in June 2011.

It was here that she met the challenge of treating a wide variety of children, some with severe health problems. While most children need basic care, others depend on the pediatric dentist to gently develop their smile. The satisfaction of working with a variety of kids and dental issues inspires her to never stop learning and smiling.
Dr. Felton feels that the first experience at the dentist should be a positive one so the child learns to take ownership in maintaining his/her own teeth. Our team constantly strives to be interactive and make practicing dentistry fun!
In November 2012, Dr. Felton received diplomat status of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. In order to achieve this certification, it requires much studying and testing beyond dental school and residency. Being board certified means that your pediatric dentist values practicing at the highest level and is committed to life long learning through staying current with the most recent scientific research. In turn, this helps to provide the highest standard of healthcare to children. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Jeanie enjoys hot yoga, hosting dinner parties, exploring new cities, hiking, and hanging out with her golden retriever, Harry. Above all else, is a mom to Frank and wife to Dr. Greene (also a dentist!). If your
